5th Calligraphy Competition

1892 works were submitted to this competition by 909 participants from 40 countries. 132 works by 116 participants from 34 countries won awards totaling US$ 50.000. Simultaneously with this competition, an Award for Distinction in Calligraphy was also distributed, to mark IRCICA’s 20th anniversary commemorated in 2000; 3 mentions were distributed to calligraphers from different countries.
